Miami’s skyline has a new jewel. A towering 66-story residential edifice, the brainchild of luxury automotive giant Aston Martin, marks the company’s maiden venture into the world of residential real estate.
The Aston Martin Residences Miami, boasting 391 units, proudly stands at the mouth of the Miami River, overlooking the picturesque Biscayne Bay, announced the firm in a Tuesday statement.
Crafted in collaboration with architect Rodolfo Miani of Bodas Mian Anger and erected by G&G Business Developments, this towering masterpiece soars to 818 feet, featuring a grand array of seven opulent penthouses. Each one is adorned with private pools and terraces, alongside apartments ranging from one to five bedrooms.
Among these residences, the most opulent is the “Unique Triplex Penthouse,” a sprawling abode spanning three floors atop the tower, commanding a princely sum of $59 million.
Officially unveiled on Tuesday, coinciding with the Formula One Miami Grand Prix, the grand inauguration of this architectural marvel symbolizes “the latest distinct expression of Aston Martin’s ultra-luxury high-performance brand,” as per the company’s statement.
Setting new standards of luxury living, the Aston Martin Residences Miami boasts an array of amenities, including an infinity pool with a pool deck, jacuzzis, and cabanas nestled on the 55th floor. Additionally, it hosts a two-floor fitness center, two movie theaters, and a virtual golf simulator, offering residents an unparalleled lifestyle experience.
The opulence extends further with a sky bar and lounge, a chef’s kitchen, a ballroom, and private dining areas, complemented by a spa, beauty salon, barber shop, and even direct access to the sea via a superyacht marina, all attended to by a private butler service.
Germán Coto, CEO of G&G Business Developments, shared the firm’s vision behind this ambitious project, stating that the allure of Miami as a cosmopolitan hub made it an ideal location, with the chosen plot offering breathtaking views of the river.
A testament to both form and function, the building’s aerodynamic design not only pays homage to the sleek silhouette of an Aston Martin but also tackles technical challenges posed by high winds in the area. Marek Reichman, Aston Martin’s EVP and Chief Creative Officer, highlighted the architectural finesse that went into crafting the structure, ensuring its resilience against natural elements while exuding an air of sophistication.
However, the journey to realize this architectural marvel was not without its hurdles. Coto reminisced about the challenges posed by the limited space of the 1.25-acre plot and stringent building regulations. This necessitated meticulous planning and innovative design solutions.
