Iconic men’s lifestyle and culture brand Playboy returned to Miami Art Week on December 4, hosting a series of luxury events until the celebration’s conclusion on December 7. With elevated lifestyle events, activations, and the brand’s classic bunnies, Playboy has been a mainstay of Miami Art Week for the past seven decades. In every appearance, they push creative boundaries to honor its legacy while marking the dawn of a new chapter.

Playboy’s Continued Presence in the Miami Art Scene

Playboy has maintained a consistent connection to the vibrant art scene in Miami, Florida, celebrating art, culture, and self-expression. At Art Basel Miami, Playboy hosted two exclusive events and creative content collaborations, including the Art Basel Playboy Art Party on December 5 on Hyde Beach at the SLS Hotel South Beach. The seaside venue was transformed into a haven of art, music, and classic Playboy allure, collectively setting the stage for the rest of the weekend.

The Events and Their Sponsors

Notably, the Hyde Beach event featured music from DJ Themba, as well as art installations and collections curated by Evoken Global, one of the most sophisticated experience curators in the world. The kickoff also featured an immersive multimedia group performance titled “Heartbondage,” which featured celebrated artists Mitya Staev and Marion Crampe.

As part of the events, Playboy partnered with several sponsors who activated across the events and plan to participate in others in the future. These include Lucky Energy Drinks, NO DAYS OFF Premium Water, Hermes Travel, and Marison Krew, the official luxury streetwear partner of Playboy. There was also a collaboration with the Pure Dating App, the official dating app of Playboy.

Partnering With Luxury Artist Max Jamali

On Friday, December 6, Playboy and Playboy Mexico teamed up to celebrate the artwork of Max Jamali, a mixed-media artist who has become recognized for his use of luxury items in making art. Using luxury itself as his medium, Jamali incorporates diamond dust, exotic leather, 24K gold, genuine silver, diamonds, and crystals, all joining to create representations of opulence. This event took place from 6 pm to 2 am at the Villa Asur in Miami Beach, incorporating Playboy Bunnies, sponsors, and live music.

A VIP Experience

On Saturday, December 7, Playboy hosted an exclusive journey and content experience on a 100-foot yacht. Departing from the Miami Beach Marina, the vessel was destined for a VIP brunch at Kiki’s on the Water.

The Return of Playboy’s Print Magazine

Of course, these events also lead to the announcement of the return of Playboy’s print magazine in February 2025. As a Playboy representative said, “The magazine will feature a fresh perspective, celebrating the brand’s commitment to free expression, sexuality, and social justice while capturing the spirit of the digital age.”

The Future of Playboy
The revamped magazine will feature the 2024 Playmate of the Year, the new Bunny Class of 2025, and the return of content franchises, including the Playboy Interview, the Playboy Advisor, and top-tier journalism. The full announcement will be made in New Orleans during the biggest football game of the year at the 2025 Super Bowl. For more information and updates, follow Playboy on Instagram and X.
