Orchestra Miami is starting the New Year with fabulous music and spectacular fireworks. Miami’s premiere professional orchestra will ring in 2025 with a free beachfront concert. It will feature three-time Latin GRAMMY-nominated group Negroni’s Trio and Latin Diva Marinel Cruz. The event is free and family-friendly and will happen on December 31st in Collins Park. The location of the concert is on the sand to the east of Collins Avenue between 21st and 22nd Street in Miami Beach.

A Spectacular Night of Music and Fireworks

The Orchestra Miami String Quartet will perform at the start of the evening at 8 PM. They will play festive music to get the crowd in a joyful, holiday mood. Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi will lead the Orchestra Miami at 10 PM. The special guests will join them and will perform a mix of classical, Latin Jazz, ballads, and favorites like La Chica de Ipanema, Piel Canela, Va Todo al Ganador, and many more.

The Special Guests of the Performance

Negroni’s Trio is a three-time GRAMMY-nominated group that is made up of José Negroni on the piano, Nomar Negroni on drums, and bass player Josh Allen. The band has performed their music, which infuses a modern, creative touch to jazz, pop, and Latin classics, on stages throughout the world, including many U.S. and international jazz festivals. They have also appeared at New York’s world-famous Blue Note Jazz Club. 

Special guest soprano Marinel Una Voz has an exceptional voice that has been captivating audiences all over the globe. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Marinel is known for her powerful interpretations of the music she sings. She has garnered recognition for her dedication and passion for opera and classical music.  At the “Miami Latino MMTV International Awards,” she was recognized for her outstanding career. She has also won prizes in prestigious competitions including The Marcello Giordani International Vocal Competition, the Miami Classical Singer Competition, and the Monserrat Caballé Competition in Spain. At the “Miami Life Awards,” she received what she considers one of her greatest honors, the title of “Best Women’s Lyric Singer 2014.” Her collaborations with José Negroni of Negroni’s Trio have introduced her to a whole new audience.

José Negroni, founder of Negroni’s Trio, said, “We are honored to be performing with Orchestra Miami on this special occasion. We can’t wait to help Orchestra Miami throw a big musical party and start 2025 with a bang!”

Details on the Concert

Though the concert is free to the public, for those who want a VIP experience, tickets are available for $120 per person. The VIP ticket includes a reserved seat, an open wine bar, and a champagne toast at midnight to ring in the New Year. A Priority Seat with access to a cash bar can also be purchased for $60 per person.

Guests attending the free concert are encouraged to bring a blanket or beach chair. There isn’t any fixed seating for the general public. Those attending can also bring picnics, but glass is strictly prohibited, so glass containers are not allowed on the beach. The public can park their vehicles at the Collins Park Garage which is located at 340 23rd Street. More parking is available at the G7 Garage in the 1755 Meridian Building or the 17th Street Garage.
