Body+Beauty Lab has officially opened at 1000 Kane Concourse in Bay Harbor Islands. The aesthetics practice, which built its reputation in Philadelphia before expanding to West Palm Beach, brings its clinically driven approach to one of Miami’s most discerning communities.
To mark the opening, we sat down with Nurse Practitioner Talia Knight to talk skincare, South Florida sun, and the treatments she can’t stop recommending.
The treatments she keeps coming back to
Ask Talia Knight to narrow down her favorite treatments and she’ll tell you upfront that it’s not an easy ask but she’ll do it anyway.
Botox tops the list, though not for the reasons you might expect. “While targeting the muscle, it helps treat fine lines and wrinkles, allowing for smoother and more radiant skin,” she says. It’s less about freezing and more about refinement; a distinction she’s quick to make.
SkinPen Microneedling is another go-to. A series of treatments, she explains, can stimulate collagen production by up to 400% over a six-month period, with meaningful improvements to skin texture, acne scarring, and uneven tone. “One of my all-time favorites,” she says simply.
The DiamondGlow Facial rounds out the more accessible end of the menu. A three-in-one treatment that resurfaces, extracts, and infuses the skin with medical-grade serums, it delivers visible results with no downtime. It’s the kind of treatment, Knight says, that leaves clients walking out with a noticeably smoother, deeply hydrated complexion.
On the injectable side, she’s particularly enthusiastic about biostimulators, whether Sculptra, Radiesse, or a natural option like platelet-rich fibrin (PRF). Placed deep in the dermis, these injections stimulate the body’s own collagen and elastin production over time. “Magic in a vial,” she says of Sculptra specifically, calling it the treatment she wishes more patients were asking about. “It truly helps rewind the clock and addresses facial volume loss while supporting our natural collagen production.”
And then there’s the Aura 3D Analysis; not a treatment itself, but the diagnostic starting point for everything else. The Swiss-made imaging system captures a photorealistic digital twin of a patient’s face and neck, analyzing texture, pigmentation, volume loss, and more in a single scan. For Knight, it’s the piece that makes everything else more precise. “This scan helps us identify which skin areas need the most attention, tailor treatments accordingly, and determine where adjustments can be made to our clients’ skincare routines.”
On treating Miami patients differently
South Florida comes with its own set of pressures kuje year-round sun exposure, humidity, and a culture that places a premium on appearance. Knight is aware of all of it, and intentional about not letting it drive the conversation in the wrong direction.
“I don’t want my clients to get in their heads about all the Miami noise and expectations,” she says. “I want them to look and feel their best in a way that is tailored to them, as well as age-appropriate.” Her priorities, in order: sun protection, a solid skincare routine, and collagen banking with subtle facial balancing as needed. The treatments come after the foundation is in place.
What she’s most excited about
When it comes to the new location itself, Knight doesn’t lead with the menu or the technology. She leads with the people. “We really have hand-selected the most amazing, knowledgeable staff to tackle aesthetic needs from every angle,” she says, “to give the Miami community something new, refreshing, and tailored to their unique needs.” The space, she adds, is something she can’t wait for people to see for themselves.
