Michelle Grace Returns to Music with “Me Time,” a Luminous Reintroduction of the Artist Within the Mother
Michelle Grace re-enters the music world on October 16, 2026, with “Me Time,” a single that distills a season of quiet reinvention into three minutes of unguarded honesty. It arrives not as a comeback in the conventional sense, but as the natural convergence of everything Michelle has become since she last stood behind a microphone: a songwriter, a mother, and, most recently, a published children’s author whose work has already found its way onto magazine covers and bookstore shelves alike.
Long before she was crafting bedtime stories, Michelle Grace was crafting hits. Signed to management at the age of thirteen, she had, by twenty, written “Higher,” a chart-topping Billboard dance single recorded by Deborah Cox, and moved through rooms shared with industry figures including Jordan Schur and producers such as Timbaland. Yet amid the accolades, something essential eluded her — a feeling she has since described candidly: the work was accomplished, but it was not, in any true sense, her own. It was motherhood, and the profound journey of becoming a parent through surrogacy, that returned her to herself. The bond she shares with her daughter, Mira, did not interrupt her creative life; it restored it, and that restoration first found its voice in “I’m Right Here,” Michelle’s debut children’s book from Brown Books Kids — a tender meditation on the connection between mother and child, endorsed by parenting authorities Dr. Vanessa Lapointe and Dr. Yana Segal Sirotkin, and since expanded into a broader bedtime ritual, including a USDA Organic essential oil blend vetted by safety expert Robert Tisserand and embraced by pediatrician Dr. Zeyad Baker. Two further volumes are forthcoming: “My Wild Imagination” and “Welcome Home, Little Fairy,” both arriving in Spring 2027.
“Me Time” gathers every thread of this new chapter into a single, unmistakable voice. “Motherhood, music, writing, creating, conversations like this — they aren’t separate pieces of my life,” Michelle says. “They’re all connected. They’re all part of my Me Time, because they’re part of my real, authentic life right now.” Where her earlier career answered to outside expectation, this chapter answers to instinct alone — “I think I’m just listening to myself more than ever,” she reflects, “which makes me feel so good.” Michelle Grace was recently featured on the cover of Park Magazine, and is available for interviews surrounding the release of “Me Time.” For press inquiries, please contact Mac Mills at Mills Music Haus, [email protected]
