Jessica Lynn Silva became a mother at 18. She did not have the luxury of waiting until life felt perfectly arranged to make decisions about the future. She had a child to raise, an education to pursue, and a career to build.
She later married a military officer whose missions frequently took him away from home. Together they raised three children, and during his absences Silva handled much of the day-to-day work of raising them. She Built Her Career One Role at a Time
Silva began in the legal field as a paralegal and later spent four years as a judicial assistant to a presiding judge. Those roles showed her how legal decisions affect families from several sides of the process. She brought that perspective with her when she became an attorney, a Florida Supreme Court Certified County Mediator, and a firm owner.
In 2019, she founded the Law Office of Jessica Lynn Silva, PLLC. Today, Jessica Lynn Law serves clients throughout Florida in estate planning, probate, and trust administration. She serves individuals and families at every stage of life, including but not limited to, young and blended families, aging adults, business owners, investors, military households, and those planning for a loved one with special needs or navigating the loss of someone they love.
That range of work gives Silva a view of what happens both before and after a loss. She helps people make choices while they can explain what matters to them. She also helps families navigate the responsibilities left behind when those conversations or documents were never completed.

A house may be listed as real property in an estate plan. To the family who lived there, it may be the place where children grew up and holidays happened. “Estate planning is love with instructions,” she says.

Silva’s life has also reminded her how quickly circumstances can change. After a serious car accident, she spent years dealing with chronic pain and rebuilding her strength. The experience reinforced a lesson she shares with clients: none of us can predict what tomorrow will bring, but we can take steps today to make the unexpected easier for the people who depend on us.

Those roles grow from the same experiences that inform her legal practice: raising a family through frequent moves and absences, working her way through the legal field, and building a firm of her own.
